The 7th Annual Fitness Event at Fulwood Leisure Centre was a huge success. So many activities in one day, it was amazing!
Thank you one & all who made it such an awesome memorable day. Enthusiastic participants were challenged to take part in three consecutive physical activities.
The event was in aid of Rosemere Cancer foundation, which raises funds for additional equipment and facilities for cancer patients being treated at the specialist Cancer Centre at Royal Preston Hospital and in the local Cancer Units throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Web Leap Solutions Ltd (www.webleap.co.uk), Preston City Council and KW Foods sponsored this charity event. Alongside sponsorship, Web Leap Solution Ltd team also provided their commercial photography services for the event and facilitate web link for “Donate and Download” to encourage further donation for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation. More than 300 photographs were captured for the event and are available on www.webleap.co.uk/7thannualfitnessevent.html. These pictures can be downloaded by donating a small amount for the charity.
The event organiser Altaf and his team have professionally and thoughtfully planned the event. They were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of participants from all walks of life, who tried their best to support the worthy cause. Special awards were given for the best efforts, youngest participant, best performance in all events and new comer to recognise their efforts.
